Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply of collars and cuffs made from soft foam, individually packaged, with a specified size of 50mm x 10mm, to meet the needs of RK Khan Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal.

The scope includes the provision of 1,200 units of foam collars and cuffs as specified in the technical requirements. The supply is a once-off contract, with delivery to RK Khan Hospital, and adherence to all specified standards and specifications outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of foam collars and cuffs made from soft foam.

• Individually packaged.
• Conformance to the specifications detailed in the hospital's product description.
• Compliance with SANAS accreditation and certification requirements, including SANAS logo presence.
• Submission of valid BBBEE certificate.
• Sworn affidavit or certificate supporting BBBEE status.

Skills and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of BBBEE certification and SANAS accreditation.
• Completion of all official bid and preference claim forms, including the SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and SBD 6.1 (Pricing and Preference Points Claim).
• Submission of a valid SARS PIN for tax compliance (if applicable).
• Furnishing detailed company information, including registration number, VAT registration (if VAT vendor), CSD registration number, and contact details.
• Understanding of procurement policies, including compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 and the Department’s general and special conditions of contract.
• Ability to meet delivery timelines and adhere to quality standards specified in the tender documentation.
