Scope

• Delivery of 420 packs of prescription and record sheets to the designated hospital facility.
• Single-delivery contract with a quotation validity period of 90 days.
• All transportation, handling, and delivery costs must be fully incorporated into the quoted price.
• Full compliance with South African public procurement regulations, including tax clearance validation, Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration, and BBBEE certification.

Technical Requirements

• Physical Specifications: Sheets must measure 297mm x 210mm, printed double-sided in black ink on 60 GSM blue mill-tinted paper. All printed content must be in English only.
• Packaging: 250 units per packet, with 30 packets per box.
• Quality Standards: Products must comply with applicable SANS/SABS specifications. Bidders must provide a valid BBBEE certificate, a sworn affidavit/certificate, and evidence bearing the SANAS logo where applicable.
• Submission Format: Quotes must be completed on official government forms without retyping. Prices must be firm, VAT-inclusive (if registered), and accompanied by all mandatory compliance documentation.

• Blue Mill-Tinted Paper: A specialized paper stock with a subtle blue background tint, commonly used in healthcare and legal sectors to deter unauthorized photocopying and facilitate quick visual identification of original documents.
• 80/20 Preference Point System: A standard South African public procurement scoring model where 80 points are awarded for price competitiveness and 20 points for socio-economic transformation goals (specifically, companies at least 51% owned by Black people).
