Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of 20 rolls of medication stickers to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at RK Khan Hospital. This is a single-delivery, once-off contract with a quotation validity period of 90 days. The supplier is responsible for transporting all goods to the hospital's designated location, with all delivery costs factored into the quoted price.

Technical Requirements

• Design & Compatibility: Stickers must utilize an adhesive formulation compatible with 200ml MiniBags and Vacolites. Each label must include clearly defined fields for: patient name, patient ID/IP number, date administered, time administered, medication name and strength, administering staff signature, and verifying staff signature.
• Quality & Standards: All products must comply with applicable South African National Standards (SANS/SABS) and bear the official SANS marking. Goods must be brand new, unused, and carry a minimum remaining shelf life of six months upon delivery.
• Administrative Compliance: Bidders must attach a valid BBBEE certificate, a sworn affidavit or Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration proof, and a SARS PIN/VAT number (where applicable). Offers must strictly follow the official quotation forms without retyping.
• Inspection & Verification: The purchaser reserves the right to request physical samples for specification verification. Failure to produce samples when formally requested will result in immediate disqualification. All associated testing costs are borne by the bidder.

No specialized technical or clinical skills are required. Suppliers must demonstrate standard commercial logistics capability, including inventory management, timely delivery, and adherence to public sector procurement frameworks. Competence in completing mandatory government compliance documentation and fulfilling warranty and penalty obligations is expected.
