Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply 300 adult X-ray gowns in pink colour to RK Khan Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring they meet specified quality and safety standards.

Scope

The scope includes the procurement and delivery of:

• 300 units of adult X-ray gowns (pink)
• Gowns made of soft, comfortable cotton material compliant with S.A.B.S. specification 1401
• Gowns featuring full open round neck, back opening with three tie-ups, waist ties (threaded drawstring style up to 100cm each side), and size XL
• Gowns printed with "KZN" in blue across the entire gown
• Sample gowns to be made available upon request

Technical Requirements

• Colour: Pink
• Material: Cotton, soft and comfortable, conforming to S.A.B.S. specification 1401
• Quality: Good quality, thick material
• Design: Full open round neck, back fully open with three tie-ups (neck, back, waist), waist tie threaded and adjustable, with specific measurements for ties
• Size: Extra Large
• Printing: "KZN" printed in blue across the entire gown
• Sample gown to be provided upon request

Skills Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Compliance with S.A.B.S. standards and specifications
• Ability to produce gowns with specified design and quality standards
• Provision of a sample gown for approval prior to bulk production
• Adherence to delivery timelines and quality assurance processes
• Provision of valid BBBEE certificate, SANAS accreditation, and sworn affidavit/certificate
