Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply a specified quantity of Triple Lumen Extension Sets that conform to the detailed specifications provided, ensuring quality, compliance with standards, and timely delivery to meet the healthcare needs of Umphumulo Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of 50 units of Triple Lumen Extension Sets as per the technical specifications, including compliance with relevant standards (SANS), and delivery to the designated hospital address. It also involves adherence to procurement policies, submission of required documentation, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of Triple Lumen Extension Sets with specifications including minimal priming volume, proximal female lumen lock connector, attached on short tubing with sliding clamp.
• Conformance to SANS standards and approval.
• Sample provision upon request for quality verification.
• Delivery in sealed packaging, with proper marking and documentation.
• Compliance with the detailed specifications provided in Annexure A, including size, material, and design features.
• Product must be new, unused, and incorporate recent design improvements.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to prepare and submit comprehensive quotations with all required documentation, including preference claim forms and compliance certificates.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, including preferential procurement regulations and standards compliance.
• Capability to provide technical samples and documentation demonstrating product compliance.
• Experience in timely delivery and logistics management within healthcare procurement.
• Understanding of contractual obligations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements such as SAHPRA licensing.
