Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure suture services for Hlengiiswe CHC, ensuring the supply of high-quality sutures that meet specified standards and requirements. Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of braided coated sutures measuring 70-75 cm in length and gauge 4/0 (Vs268, V310G). The procurement is limited to quotations for services related to sutures, with an estimated quantity of 84 boxes (each containing 12 sutures). The contract period, delivery, and associated services are to be defined upon award, within the specified guidelines.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of new, unused, and current model sutures with specified length and gauge.
• Conformance to SANAS/SABS specifications and standards as outlined in the tender documentation.
• Provision of sutures in packaging of 12 per box, with clear labeling and documentation.
• Compliance with quality assurance, warranty, and safety standards.
• Submission of B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim points related to race and enterprise ownership.
• Adherence to delivery timelines and proper packing to prevent damage during transit.

Skills Requirements

Suppliers and their personnel must possess:
