Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Pipe Jetter for the supply and delivery to Maphumulo Municipality, aimed at enhancing drainage and stormwater pipe cleaning capabilities.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of a drainage/stormwater pipe jetter, including all necessary technical specifications and compliance requirements. The delivery is to be made to the Supply Chain Management Unit at the specified address in Maphumulo.

Technical Requirements

• The equipment must be a functional pipe cleaning jetter suitable for drainage and stormwater pipe maintenance.
• All alterations to the submitted quotation must be signed by the bidder, confirming the changes.
• The supplier must provide proof of compliance with municipal rates, electricity or water accounts not older than 3 months, and relevant registration documents.
• The equipment must meet the specifications outlined in the RFQ and be suitable for the intended drainage and stormwater cleaning tasks.
• Delivery must be completed within the required period/lead time specified in the tender documentation.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a detailed report not older than 3 months.
• Bidder must provide a completed and signed Municipal Bidding Document.
• Tax compliance verification and proof of tax clearance are required.
• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with preferential procurement points for ownership by South Africans, rural area residents, and other specific goals as per the points claim form.
