Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 100 units of thermoplastic masks of the head and shoulders type for use in radiation oncology at Addington Hospital. Scope

Technical Requirements

• The masks must be of the S-Type, standard perforation design, suitable for head, neck, and shoulders.
• The masks should be submerged in water baths to become moldable over the patient's contour.
• The masks must include clips for secure fitting.
• Physical samples must be provided for evaluation and approval prior to final procurement.
• The masks must conform to the specifications and images provided, ensuring proper fit and functionality.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate technical capability to manufacture or supply thermoplastic masks that meet the specified standards.
• Ability to provide physical samples for assessment and approval.
• Compliance with quality standards, including the ability to produce masks that are moldable and durable.
• Provision of technical documentation, including specifications, blueprints, and certification of conformity.
• Experience in supplying medical or radiation oncology equipment is advantageous.
