Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure toner cartridges, HP LaserJet toner, and drum units that meet specified standards for printing at Port Shepstone Hospital. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of original, certified, and quality assured printing consumables to support hospital operations.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of the following items:

• TONER CARTRIDGES TN 3250 / 3290 (Brother)
• HP LaserJet Toner 89A
• DRUM UNIT DR 3215

The items must be original, conform to specified standards, and be delivered within two weeks of order. The procurement covers the supply of these items for printing purposes at Port Shepstone Hospital, with an emphasis on quality, certification, and timely delivery.

Technical Requirements

• Items must be compatible with specified printer models (Brother TN 3250/3290, HP 89A, DR 3215).
• All toner cartridges and drum units must be original and certified (SABS/SANS or equivalent).
• The goods must be new, unused, and of the latest models, free from defects.
• Suppliers must provide proof of certification and relevant documentation with the quotation.
• Delivery must be completed within 2 weeks from the date of order.
• Suppliers must submit samples if requested, and samples must meet the specifications.
• All packaging must include batch/lot number, manufacturing and expiry dates, and supplier contact details.

Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of original and certified printing consumables standards.
• Ability to provide technical documentation and certification proof.
• Experience in timely procurement and delivery of printing supplies to healthcare facilities.
• Capability to supply products that meet SABS/SANS standards or equivalent certifications.
• Competence in providing technical support and documentation, including sole supplier letters and certification proof.
