Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure training services for basic road marking and line painting using roller and brush application methods. The training aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform surface preparation, equipment familiarization, line painting techniques, stencil application, paint application, safety, regulatory compliance, and practical application of road markings.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of training on basic road marking and line painting techniques.
• Course content covering introduction to road markings, surface preparation, equipment familiarization, line painting techniques, stencil use, paint application, safety, and practical application.
• Delivery of training to a specified number of learners, with certificates of competence issued upon completion.
• Training to be conducted on a per-person basis, with prices including VAT and valid until 30 June 2027.
• Provision of references demonstrating at least 4 years of relevant experience by the service provider and facilitator.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender are as follows:

• The quotation must include:
• Course content and duration.
• Set targets for the training.
• Proof of facilitator’s experience (minimum 3-4 years, with CV as proof).
• Three written references of relevant experience since 2015.
• Certificates of competence, laminated, issued after training completion.
• Prices must include VAT and be valid until 30 June 2027.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider and facilitator include:

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in facilitating road marking or similar training (proof via CV).
• Provision of three written references demonstrating experience since 2015.
• Facilitator must have demonstrated expertise in surface preparation, equipment handling, line painting, stencil use, and safety regulations.
• Ability to deliver practical training with hands-on application and provide laminated certificates of competence.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to road marking.
