Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Trolley with a Double Bucket System that meets specified standards and requirements for use at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital. The procurement aims to ensure the delivery of quality equipment that minimizes cross-contamination during cleaning processes, complies with relevant standards, and aligns with departmental policies on preference and procurement.

Scope

The scope of this tender includes the supply of a Trolley, Double Bucket System, with detailed specifications such as capacity, materials, and design features. It covers the entire procurement process from submission, evaluation, to final delivery and installation at the specified hospital location. The scope also encompasses compliance with technical standards, submission of samples if required, and adherence to contractual and procurement policies.

Technical Requirements

• The trolley must be mounted with two, 20L capacity, heavy-duty buckets made of high-quality copolymer plastic, shock-proof and corrosion-resistant.
• It must include a high-efficiency metal wringer located specifically over the waste bucket.
• The frame should be complete steel with four durable castors for mobility.
• The system must come with red and blue buckets to clearly separate waste water from cleaning solutions.
• Compliance with the attached specifications, including size, colour, material, and standard requirements, is mandatory.
• Samples may be required for testing and verification purposes.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate the ability to supply and deliver the specified trolley system in accordance with technical specifications.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, including submission of mandatory documents, samples, and compliance declarations.
• Understanding of departmental policies on preference points, BBBEE certification, and legal compliance.
• Technical expertise in manufacturing or supplying hospital-grade cleaning equipment that adheres to health and safety standards.
• Ability to provide after-sales support, technical information, and ensure timely delivery within the contractual period.
