Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure unprinted shipper boxes and dividers that meet specified quality and technical standards. The aim is to ensure the supply of suitable packaging materials that conform to the attached specifications, support the organization's packaging requirements, and comply with relevant procurement policies.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of:

• Unprinted shipper boxes in various quantities and sizes, specifically:
  • 100 bundles of 25 boxes each (Product Code: PM0270)
  • 1200 individual unprinted shipper boxes (Product Code: PM0390)
  • 200 bundles of 25 boxes each (Product Code: PM0275)
  • Additional unprinted shipper boxes as specified (Product Code: PM200)
• Plain unprinted cartons with detailed specifications for different sizes (Product Codes: PM275, PM200, PM270).

The supply must adhere to the detailed technical specifications provided, including dimensions, material quality, and certification requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Use of high-quality, dense, white recycled board with specified grammage and fluting thickness (3.5-4mm).
• Cartons must be clean, free of cuttings or leftovers, and conform to the attached design samples.
• All cartons must have the supplier name and item code printed on them.
• Each batch must be accompanied by a signed certificate of analysis or conformance, indicating batch number, specifications, and results, issued on company letterhead and signed by the responsible person.
• Design specifications include dimensions, folding, and construction details as per the attached diagrams and samples.
• All cartons must meet the specified diagram requirements for closed and formed cartons.

Skills Requirements

The supplier must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in manufacturing high-quality, eco-friendly carton and box products according to detailed technical specifications.
• Capability to produce cartons with precise dimensions and design features as specified.
• Ability to provide signed certificates of analysis or conformance for each batch, ensuring quality assurance.
• Experience in supplying packaging materials to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Compliance with South African procurement regulations, including registration and tax compliance documentation.
