Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Ward Hostess Services at GJGM Regional Hospital for a period of 6 months. The services aim to ensure proper patient food service, ward cleanliness, and support functions within the hospital wards, maintaining hygiene and patient satisfaction standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of 10 ward hostess staff members, including supervision, for day and night shifts over 6 months.
• Responsibilities encompass ward cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, waste disposal, and patient interaction.
• Appointing a supervisor to oversee service delivery and staff supervision.
• Conducting weekly site visits by the company representative.
• Provision of uniforms and PPE for staff, replacement staff for leaves/emergencies, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Staff must adhere to hospital hygiene and safety standards, including PPE and uniforms.
• Provision of a supervisor with at least 3 years relevant experience, holding a senior certificate, and possessing good communication skills.
• Staff must be available for shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00, including weekends and public holidays.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Basic Conditions Act.
• Proper training, supervision, and replacement of staff as needed.
