Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure laboratory water testing services within Ceza / Thulasizwe Hospital and associated clinics. The service involves testing water samples from multiple clinics and providing accurate results to ensure water safety and compliance with standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing water testing services for Ceza Hospital, Thulasizwe, and several clinics listed in the documentation.
• Testing water samples and delivering results for each specified clinic.
• Performing the service as a once-off requirement, with a validity period of 90 days for the quotation.
• Delivering quotes to the designated tender box and collecting quotes from specified sources.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Water testing must be conducted in accordance with SABS standards.
• Samples must be tested and results provided for multiple clinics, including Ceza, Thulasizwe, Sizana, Kahemelana, Ombimbini, Esidakeni, Magadadolo, Ezimbabeni, Stedham, and Edbele.
• Samples should meet the detailed specifications outlined in the annexure, including compliance with quality standards.
• Samples may require submission for testing, and the service provider must ensure proper packaging and handling.
• All testing must be completed within the agreed timeframe, and results must be accurate and compliant with national standards.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for the service provider include:

• Qualified laboratory personnel with expertise in water testing and analysis.
• Knowledge of SABS standards and South African water quality regulations.
• Experience in handling water samples from healthcare facilities and clinics.
• Ability to produce accurate, reliable, and timely test results.
• Competence in documentation, reporting, and compliance with procurement and quality standards.
