Objectives

Scope of Work

The scope encompasses the provision of welding repairs for trucks, trailers, and tractors. The quotation must include pricing per unit, specify quantities, and clearly state the delivery period. Submissions must be made on the official company letterhead.

Technical Requirements

• Quotation validity must be at least 30 days from the date of offer.
• A firm and realistic delivery period must be indicated.
• Service providers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• A valid Tax Clearance Pin must be provided.
• A completed MBD4 (Declaration of Interest) form is mandatory.
• Compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) is required.

Skills and Evaluation Requirements

The evaluation will be conducted using the 80/20 preference point system, where 80 points are allocated to price and 20 points to specific goals based on Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) ownership:

• 20 points: 100% Black-owned entities.
• 18 points: At least 51% Black-owned entities.
• 14 points: Less than 51% Black-owned entities.
