Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure white bold numbered labels specifically for the OPD department at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital. The labels are intended for identification purposes to ensure medication is not issued to the wrong patient.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of white bold numbered labels in various departments (OPD, D3, Clinics, IPD) of Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital, conforming to detailed specifications regarding size, color, printing, and durability. The procurement covers multiple units and departments within the hospital, with the labels printed for specific days and holidays as per the calendar year 2027.

Technical Requirements

• Size: 32mm x 19mm labels
• Labels must be bold in colour, with all letters, numbers, dates, and letters (C and P) clearly printed.
• Labels for Monday to Saturday, including public holidays, with specific numbering sequences:
  • Monday to Friday: print two copies of each date, numbered from 1 to 1400.
  • Saturday and public holidays: start numbering from 01 to 400 or 600, as specified per department.
• Labels printed adjacent to each other with sequential numbering.
• Labels are to be supplied in rolls, with sample approval required prior to full production.
• Labels must meet quality standards and be suitable for end-user evaluation.
• Labels are to be delivered in compliance with the specifications attached, including size, colour, and printing standards.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to produce labels that meet detailed technical specifications regarding size, print quality, and durability.
• Experience in manufacturing or supplying medical identification labels, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Capability to provide samples for evaluation prior to bulk production.
• Compliance with quality standards and adherence to hospital and departmental specifications.
