Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure youth council golf shirts, including polo shirts in various sizes and styles, to meet the needs of the Youth Council as specified in the tender documentation.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of golf shirts (both short and long sleeve) in specified colours and fabric specifications. The procurement includes different sizes and quantities as detailed in the pricing schedule. Delivery must occur within 14 days after official order receipt, to the designated address at the Investment Centre, Vredenburg.

Technical Requirements

• Product Type: Golf shirts (Polo shirts) in specified colours and fabric specifications.
• Available in: Various sizes (XS to XXL) and styles (short and long sleeve).
• Fabric: Recommended fabric and printing method to be specified.
• Pricing: Must include delivery charges and be valid for at least 90 days from the closing date.
• Packaging and marking: All courier packaging must be clearly marked with the RFQ number and submitted in the correct quotation box.
• Delivery: 14 days after official order, to the specified delivery address.

Skills Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and active status verification.
• Completion and signing of mandatory forms including Declaration of Interest (MBD 4), Preference Points Claim (MBD 6.1), and Certificate of Independent Bid (MBD 9).
• Provision of proof for preference points claims, such as B-BBEE certificates or affidavits, and proof of locality (municipal account or lease agreement).
• Understanding of procurement procedures, including adherence to technical specifications, pricing, and submission deadlines.
• Ability to supply the specified goods on time and in accordance with the technical and contractual requirements.
