Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a 24-month cleaning service at Mokerong Magistrate, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the magistrate's office premises. The service aims to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in accordance with industry best practices and statutory requirements.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Providing comprehensive cleaning services for the interior of the Magistrate's office, including all rooms, windows, doors, floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Conducting regular operational reviews for continuous improvement.
• Offering reactive cleaning services as needed.
• Supplying all necessary consumables, cleaning materials, and equipment.
• Performing deep cleaning of toilets and sanitary facilities biannually.
• Maintaining cleanliness of courtyards, glass surfaces, elevators, and external paving daily or as specified.
• Managing waste removal, including rubbish bins and sanitary waste, in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met through proper use of PPE and environmentally friendly cleaning equipment.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly cleaning equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners, polishers, and scrubbers.
• Adherence to the Sectoral Determination 1 for employment conditions, including minimum wages and working hours.
• Compliance with statutory health and safety legislation, including proper handling and storage of chemicals.
• Regular site inspections and operational reviews.
• Use of approved disinfectants and cleaning agents that are slip-free and environmentally safe.
• Provision of PPE such as masks, gloves, overalls, and protective footwear for all cleaning staff.
• Maintaining all cleaning equipment and replenishing stock of cleaning materials throughout the contract period.
• Implementation of safety signage, including wet floor signs during cleaning activities.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing cleaning services for government or similar institutional facilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and statutory health and safety standards.
• Ability to operate and maintain energy-efficient cleaning machinery.
• Capacity to manage a team of cleaners and supervisors effectively.
• Competence in handling hazardous chemicals and waste disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Strong organizational and operational review skills for continuous service improvement.
• Ability to ensure compliance with employment conditions as per Sectoral Determination 1.
• Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness in similar settings.
