Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver training for one official from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries & Environment on "Leading Innovation in the 2026-27 Public Service." The training aims to enhance strategic leadership, design thinking, digital governance, data-driven policy making, stakeholder engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the public sector.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of a face-to-face training course lasting no more than 10 days around Gauteng.
• Development and delivery of course content covering modules such as innovation in public governance, strategic leadership, design thinking, digital governance, data-driven policy making, stakeholder engagement, and continuous learning.
• Venue and catering arrangements, including breakfast, lunch with soft drinks, and afternoon tea for the duration of the training.
• Submission of a formal quotation on company letterhead, including all costs (training, venue, catering, taxes).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Training content aligned with the specified modules.
• Face-to-face delivery method.
• Training duration: not more than 10 days.
• Venue: around Gauteng.
• Inclusive of venue hire and catering costs.
• All prices must be inclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes.
• Delivery only upon receipt of an official purchase order or formal appointment letter from the department.

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must demonstrate:

• Expertise in public sector innovation and leadership training.
• Experience in designing and delivering face-to-face training programs.
• Ability to develop comprehensive training modules on innovation, digital governance, and related topics.
• Capacity to organize training venues and catering services.
• Compliance with procurement and legal requirements, including submission of valid documents such as B-BBEE certificates, CSD registration, and tax compliance status.
