The primary objective of this tender is to appoint service providers for accredited skills training across various programmes, including lifesaving, hairdressing, barbering, and other vocational skills, to enhance employment opportunities and skills development within the Stellenbosch community. The programme aims to deliver high-quality training, assessment, certification, and related support to youth aged 18-35, fostering job readiness and practical skills.
The scope encompasses the provision of accredited training in multiple learning areas such as:
Services include training delivery (theoretical and practical), assessment, moderation, certification, recruitment and selection of candidates, provision of training materials, facilitation of award ceremonies, and post-training reporting. The programmes are to be implemented over a period ending 30 June 2029, with specific milestones and deliverables outlined in the implementation plans.
