The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a panel of qualified legal service providers to deliver specialized legal services to Sasria SOC Limited. The selected firms will assist with ad-hoc legal services across various legal practice areas, supporting Sasria’s expanding operations and increasing demand for specialized legal expertise.

  • Joining Sasria’s revised panel of legal service providers.
  • Providing expert legal services on an ad-hoc basis in the following practice areas:

    • Regulatory (Financial Services) and Administrative Law (including PFMA, BBBEE law, PAJA)
    • Litigation and Dispute Resolution
    • Employment and Labour Law
    • Tax and Related Law
    • Government Contracting and Public Procurement
    • Government (Environmental, Social & Governance) & Public Entities
    • Data Protection Law
    • Construction
    • All-Risk and Plant-All Risk
  • Supporting Sasria with legal advice and representation as required over the duration of the current legal panel (approximately 5 years).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for bidders include:

  • Compliance with mandatory criteria:
    • Good standing with the Law Society/Legal Practice Council.
    • Admitted attorneys with valid admission certificates.
    • Valid professional indemnity or fidelity fund certificates.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience of the lead director/partner in each practice area bid for, with evidence of legal projects or work undertaken.
  • Provision of a detailed understanding of Sasria’s business model and scope of work for each practice area.
  • Clear methodology and approach for delivering legal services in each practice area.
  • Experience in working with public entities.
  • Provision of contactable references for work done in the past five years in the relevant practice areas.
  • Submission of a comprehensive technical proposal aligned with evaluation criteria.

  • Expertise in the specified legal practice areas, with demonstrated experience and resources.
  • Strong understanding of South African legal frameworks, especially laws relevant to Sasria’s operations.
