Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a panel of qualified service providers to supply, deliver, and offload livestock production inputs for various projects within the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. The overall goal is to ensure efficient procurement and distribution of livestock inputs to support agricultural development initiatives over a period of thirty-six (36) months.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply, delivery, and offloading of livestock production inputs.
• Implementation across multiple projects within KwaZulu-Natal province.
• Provision of services for a duration of thirty-six (36) months.

Additionally, the tender includes related activities such as administrative and technical support, and adherence to specified quality and delivery standards.

Technical Requirements

Applicants must meet the following technical criteria:

• Demonstrate capability to supply livestock production inputs as specified.
• Achieve a minimum functionality score of 60%, which equates to at least 42 points out of 70 points.
• Complete and submit all required documentation, including proof of compliance with specific goals (e.g., employment of persons with disabilities).
• Participate in optional clarification meetings scheduled on 05 and 08 September 2025.
• Bid submissions must be sealed, properly endorsed with the bid number, description, and closing date, and submitted before the deadline of 26 September 2025 at 11:00 am.
• Adhere to the 80/20 preference point system, allocating points for price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points).
• Ensure bid documents are obtained from the specified sources and paid for at a non-refundable fee of R300 per set.
