The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to supply technical equipment services on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The goal is to ensure the South African State Theatre (SAST) has access to reliable technical equipment and support to facilitate its operations and productions.
The scope of work includes the provision of technical equipment services, specifically the supply, delivery, setup, testing, and collection of equipment as needed. Equipment required includes, but is not limited to, professional digital wireless lapel microphone systems and other technical devices. The service provider must also provide technical support personnel, guarantee equipment availability within reasonable notice periods, and handle parts, materials, and consumables on a reimbursement basis. The equipment must be in excellent working condition and supported with warranties and detailed service reports.
