Scope of Work

The scope covers a broad range of services including:

• Insurance, administration, and management of government and private vehicle fleets, including subsidized, VIP, and regional vehicles.
• Provision of vehicle insurance cover, rental services, and yard insurance across various locations within South Africa, with contract durations ranging from 60 to 120 days and multiple regional contracts.
• Assessment, evaluation, and processing of insurance claims related to vehicle damages, theft, hail, malicious damage, and third-party liabilities, covering multiple vehicle brands and models.
• Technical assessments for damages, repairs, and total loss evaluations, including glass claims and complex damage scenarios.
• Claims management processes such as registration, verification, invoicing, dispute resolution, and claim cancellations.
• System integration and information sharing with relevant stakeholders, including government departments, repair centers, and insurers.
• Support services including training, call center operations, communication, and system enhancements to facilitate efficient claims and fleet management.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications mandate that the service provider must:

• Develop and maintain management information systems capable of seamless data sharing on vehicle and insurance information.
• Implement comprehensive insurance solutions, including contingency or Rent-a-Captive policies, with management of premiums, claims, refunds, and cost adjustments based on indices like CPI.

• Strong understanding of regional and sector-specific standards, regulations, and compliance requirements for vehicle assessments and claims processing.
• Ability to produce detailed, accurate, and professional assessment reports, repair estimates, and damage evaluations.
• Effective communication skills for operating 24/7 call centers, stakeholder engagement, and report presentation.
• Capacity to handle multiple claims across different regions and sectors efficiently, maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Experience in managing salvage, accident repairs, dispute resolution, and handling complex claim scenarios including total loss, theft, and malicious damage.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and data management skills to support transparency and regulatory compliance.
