The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to perform electrical maintenance at George Airport remote sites over a period of five (5) years. The scope includes:

  • Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of faulty components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, cabling, and wiring.
  • Provision of 24/7 availability with response times of 2 hours for critical airport systems and 4-6 hours for remote sites.
  • Inspection, servicing, testing, and certification of electrical systems including distribution boards, protection systems, cable reticulation, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and inverter checks.
  • Installation or replacement of lighting, power outlets, switches, surge protection devices, and minor rewiring or modifications.

  • Maintenance of critical systems such as radar, VHF, VDF, DME, and power supplies, including generator and UPS systems.
  • Provision of related services such as rigging work, rigging, high mast work, and site-specific repairs.
