Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver adult swimming lessons aimed at enhancing water safety for employees working near water sources. The lessons are intended to improve swimming skills across different levels, ensuring safety and confidence in water.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing adult swimming lessons for employees at various skill levels: beginner, learn to swim, and stroke correction.
• Offering flexible scheduling to accommodate employees' work commitments, with lessons lasting at least 30 minutes.
• Utilizing facilities with heated and indoor pools, preferably close to the SAEON Fynbos offices in Observatory, Cape Town.
• Providing swimming packages ranging from 5 to 20 lessons.
• Issuing certificates upon completion of lessons.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the service provider include:

• Facilities must have heated, indoor pools near the SAEON offices to minimize travel time.
• Instructors should be friendly, patient, and capable of delivering lessons tailored to different skill levels.
• Lessons should be scheduled flexibly, allowing employees to postpone or reschedule without penalties.
• Provision of swimming packages between 5 and 20 lessons.
• Issuance of certificates at the end of the course.
• Submission of original bid documents in PDF format via email.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:

• Experience in delivering adult swimming lessons, with qualified and friendly instructors.
• Ability to provide flexible scheduling and personalized training to accommodate different levels and needs.
• Facilities that meet safety and comfort standards, including heated and indoor pools.
• Capability to issue certificates and manage the administrative aspects of the training program.
