Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to supply office kitchen consumables, cleaning materials, crockery, cutlery, appliances, and special orders as required, for a period of 24 months. The aim is to ensure the continuous availability of quality consumables and related items to support office operations efficiently.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the provision of:

• Kitchen consumables such as milk, sugar, tea, coffee, spreads, salt, and beverages.
• Cleaning materials including insecticide, serviettes, toothpicks, towels, bicarbonate of soda, dishwashing liquids, and toilet rolls.
• Special orders like hand sanitiser.
• Cutlery and crockery items, including teaspoons, spoons, forks, knives, dinner plates, bowls, glasses, cups, and jugs, supplied quarterly.
• Appliances such as kettles, toasters, and coffee drawers, supplied on an ad hoc basis.

The volumes indicated are estimates for evaluation purposes only and do not constitute a commitment to purchase these quantities.

Technical Requirements

The successful bidder must ensure:

• All items are supplied in accordance with the specifications listed in the pricing schedule.
• Items are delivered timely and in good condition, adhering to the specified quantities and frequency.
• Pricing includes all applicable costs, including markup, delivery, and handling fees.
• Items such as crockery and cutlery are durable, microwave and dishwasher safe where specified.
• Appliances are of standard quality suitable for office use.
• All consumables and materials meet relevant health and safety standards.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying office consumables and related products.
• Capability to manage timely delivery and inventory control.
• Ability to provide quality assurance and compliance with technical specifications.
• Strong logistical and supply chain management skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards applicable to consumables and cleaning materials.
• Capacity to handle adhoc and scheduled orders efficiently.
