Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a reputable and experienced service provider to deliver in-person video editing training to five (5) employees of the South African State Theatre (SAST). The training aims to enhance the employees' skills in video editing, supporting SAST’s mandate to facilitate performing arts productions and audience engagement.

Scope

The scope of the project includes:

• Provision of in-person video editing training for five (5) employees of SAST.
• Development and delivery of comprehensive course content covering relevant modules and skills in video editing.
• Training to be conducted at the specified delivery address: 320 Pretoria Street, Pretoria 0001.
• Post-training, the service provider may be required to provide support such as supervision of on-site assembly, maintenance, or technical assistance, as specified.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• The training must be delivered in-person, with content tailored to the needs of the five employees.
• The course content must cover specific modules related to video editing skills, techniques, and tools.
• The service provider must demonstrate relevant experience and accreditation, including proof of registration as a Skills Development Provider (SDP) with the QCTO and recognition by the MICT SETA.
• The provider must submit technical specifications of the training program and modules offered, ensuring compliance with the scope of work.
• The training must meet the technical standards specified in the RFQ, including quality and relevance of content.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Proven experience in delivering video editing training, with references for similar projects.
• Accreditation as a Skills Development Provider recognized by the relevant authorities (QCTO, MICT SETA).
• Capability to develop and deliver comprehensive training modules tailored to the needs of the participants.
• Ability to provide qualified trainers with expertise in video editing software and techniques.
• Demonstrated capacity to conduct in-person training effectively, including logistical arrangements and resource provision.
• Compliance with all mandatory requirements, including submission of relevant documentation such as company registration, tax compliance, and B-BBEE certificates.
