Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to assist Agrément South Africa with comprehensive insurance services over a period of three (3) years. The aim is to ensure effective management, claims handling, risk assessment, and enhancement of the current insurance program to safeguard the organization's assets and operations.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Providing insurance brokerage services for Agrément South Africa's assets and operations.
• Managing claims, claims processing, and administration of the insurance portfolio.
• Offering innovative and best practice solutions for risk transfer and insurance coverage.
• Providing comprehensive coverage for assets listed in the asset register, including office content, equipment, and other related assets.
• Monitoring insurance progress, claims, and coverage adjustments, including extensions for new assets or increased asset values.

Technical Requirements

The successful bidder must:

• Provide insurance brokerage and claim management services.
• Ensure coverage for specific risks such as fire, business interruption, public liability, fidelity guarantee, group personal accident, and office contents.
• Assist with risk assessment and propose best practice insurance solutions.
• Handle claims efficiently, including reimbursement and necessary endorsements.
• Monitor and report on insurance claims and coverage status regularly.
• Enter into a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Agrément South Africa outlining performance standards.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in insurance brokerage and claims management, preferably within the public or private sector.
• Knowledge of South African insurance regulations and best practices.
• Ability to provide innovative risk management solutions.
• Capability to handle comprehensive insurance portfolios, including asset risk assessment and claims processing.
• Strong communication and reporting skills to ensure transparency and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including membership with the South African Insurance Broker Association.
