Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to conduct training for 18 officials on Monitoring and Evaluation. The training aims to enhance the officials' skills and knowledge in monitoring and evaluation practices, aligned with the relevant SAQA standards and the Public Service requirements. Delegates will undertake assessments and receive certification upon successful completion.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing a contact session on Monitoring and Evaluation based on SAQA US ID: 252032 at NQF Level 5 (8 credits).
• Training 18 officials in Pietermaritzburg, covering all relevant strategic areas aligned with public service standards.
• Covering all important areas at a strategic level suitable for the targeted audience.
• Assessing delegates through formative and summative evaluations and submitting portfolios of evidence.
• Issuing certificates of competence upon successful completion.
• Duration of training: 3 working days.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Provision of training aligned with SAQA US ID: 252032, NQF Level 5, 8 credits.
• Training to be conducted in Pietermaritzburg.
• Coverage of all key areas at a strategic level relevant to public service officials.
• Assessment of delegates through formative and summative methods, with evidence portfolios.
• Provision of certification of competence post-training.
• Proof of SETA accreditation and relevant experience (minimum of 2 reference letters from recent clients).
• Submission of CVs and qualifications of trainers.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in delivering Monitoring and Evaluation training at NQF Level 5.
• Ability to develop and deliver training content suitable for public service officials.
• Capability to assess participants and provide certification.
• Proven track record with at least two recent reference letters from different clients.
• Qualified trainers with relevant certifications and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Compliance with SETA accreditation standards.
