Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to perform down-the-whole camera logging on an existing borehole in Vryburg (Leon Taljaard Nature Reserve). The purpose is to assess the borehole's stability and integrity by capturing detailed images and analysis of the borehole walls.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Using a high-resolution camera to perform down-the-hole logging in an existing borehole.
• Capturing 360° views and scans of the borehole sidewalls.
• Providing an analysis report along with electronic copies of borehole wall images and depth data.

The work is to be conducted outside the town of Vryburg at the Leon Taljaard Nature Reserve.

Technical Requirements

• Utilize a high-resolution camera capable of down-the-hole logging.
• Capture comprehensive 360° views and scans of the borehole sidewalls.
• Provide a detailed analysis report with electronic images and depth information.
• Ensure compliance with the mandatory specifications outlined in the tender documentation.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Proven experience in borehole camera logging and geological borehole assessments.
• Ability to operate high-resolution down-the-hole cameras and related equipment.
• Capability to produce detailed analysis reports with electronic images.
• Registration on the National Treasury Central Database (or willingness to register if not already registered).
• Compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to borehole logging activities.
