  • Implementation of a comprehensive three-year remuneration review cycle, including grading, policy review, and salary adjustments based on Paterson grading levels.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must meet the following technical criteria:

  • Have completed at least five projects in Total Rewards, with verifiable reference letters on client letterhead.
  • Possess a Project Leader with a Master Reward Specialist designation from the South African Reward Association (SARA).
  • Employ at least two Reward Specialists with Reward Specialist designations from SARA.
  • Provide reliable, valid, and independent survey data from both public and private sectors, adhering to best practice norms and standards.
  • Use a project management approach that clearly defines roles, responsibilities, and timelines for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all personnel involved have relevant qualifications and experience, with detailed CVs and experience forms completed (Form A for Project Leader, Forms B1 & B2 for Reward Specialists).
  • Demonstrate compliance with BBBEE requirements, including valid certification and sworn affidavits where applicable.
  • Submit all mandatory annexures and documentation, including company experience, personnel experience, and BBBEE status.
  • Provide a comprehensive pricing schedule aligned with the scope, including detailed unit prices and projected quantities for each deliverable.
  • Adhere to the specified evaluation criteria, including functionality scoring (minimum 35 out of 45 points) based on experience, personnel qualifications, and project approach.
