Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to supply and apply digital print and cut on cast vinyl with a layer UV coating for the branding and rebranding of college vehicles at South Cape TVET College. The service aims to enhance the visual identity of the college's fleet through high-quality vehicle branding, including artwork design, application, stripping, and surface cleaning.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply and application of digital print & cut on cast vinyl with UV coating on ten (10) vehicles.
• Branding on various vehicle areas such as sides, doors, back, and tailgates, with specific dimensions provided.
• Artwork design and setup fee included in the scope.
• Application, stripping (rebranding), surface cleaning, and surface preparation for all vehicles.
• Provision of references, company profile, and evidence of previous relevant experience within the last three years.
• Execution of branding services for nine (9) vehicles, with detailed dimensions and vehicle types specified.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the project include:

• Use of digital print & cut on cast vinyl with a layer UV coating, adhering to the college’s corporate identity standards for colour:
• Primary Maroon: PANTONE 491 C, Hex #88291b, RGB (136, 41, 27), CMYK (0, 70, 80, 47)
• Primary Blue: Reflex Blue C, Hex #094f96, RGB (9, 79, 150), CMYK (94, 47, 0, 41)
• Primary Grey: PANTONE 429 C, Hex #b7b7b7, RGB (183, 183, 183), CMYK (0, 0, 0, 28)
• Branding areas and dimensions as specified for each vehicle type, including front, back, sides, and tailgate.
• Artwork design and setup included in the scope.
• Application and stripping to be performed with surface cleaning and surface preparation.
• All work must comply with the college’s branding standards and specifications.
• Site briefing available for physical verification of vehicles and branding areas.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in vehicle branding and rebranding projects, with evidence of completed projects within the last three years.
• Capability to design, produce, and apply high-quality vinyl graphics according to specified dimensions and standards.
• Technical equipment and operational capacity to handle vehicle branding projects efficiently.
• Ability to execute surface cleaning, stripping, and surface preparation to ensure high-quality application.
• Local presence within a 140 km radius of George, Western Cape, to facilitate logistical and travel considerations.
• Provision of company profile, references, and proof of previous relevant work.
