Objectives

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the leasing of office accommodation in Cape Town for ICASA’s Western Cape Regional Office. It involves the selection of a qualified service provider to provide office space on a lease basis for the specified period, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, technical, and commercial requirements. Technical Requirements

• The office accommodation must be located in Cape Town, suitable for ICASA’s regional operations.
• The lease period is nine years and eleven months.
• The bid must comply with the PPPFA 2000 and the Preferential Procurement Regulation: 2022.
• All bids must be submitted on official forms and include valid tax clearance certificates.
• Bid submissions must be complete with supporting documentation, including company registration, CSD registration, and proof of compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Pricing must be VAT inclusive and quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
• Additional costs, if any, must be clearly specified, and rates must be firm for the full contract period unless adjustments are justified and documented.
• Bidder must demonstrate capacity to deliver the office accommodation meeting ICASA’s operational standards.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Proven experience in leasing office accommodation, preferably within the public sector or similar regulatory environment.
