Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitably qualified and professional bidder to provide comprehensive business insurance coverage for the organization. The selected bidder will be responsible for ensuring adequate insurance protection across various asset classes, liabilities, and operational risks for a period of three (03) years.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of business insurance services, including but not limited to:

• Assessment of the organization's insurance needs
• Provision of insurance policies covering fixed assets, vehicles, office equipment, furniture, fittings, and other operational assets
• Management and administration of insurance claims
• Regular review and renewal of insurance policies
• Advisory services on risk management and insurance best practices

The scope extends to all relevant assets and liabilities as detailed in the organization's asset register and related documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Provision of comprehensive insurance coverage tailored to the organization's asset profile
• Ability to handle claims efficiently and effectively
• Provision of detailed risk assessment and insurance advisory services
• Compliance with all relevant South African insurance regulations and standards
• Demonstrated experience in providing similar insurance services to organizations of comparable size and complexity
• Provision of a detailed insurance plan including coverage scope, exclusions, premiums, and renewal processes
