Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified supplier for the supply and delivery of water borehole materials to Dr Js Moroka Local Municipality. The contract duration is for 12 months, with the possibility of as-needed deliveries based on the municipality's requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of water borehole materials necessary for the municipality's operational needs over a period of one year. The supplier will be responsible for providing the specified materials as and when required, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to support municipal water infrastructure projects.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of water borehole materials compliant with relevant standards and specifications.
• Delivery of materials to the designated municipal address: 2A Walter Sisulu Street, Middelburg, Nkangala District Municipality.
• Adherence to the delivery schedules and quantities as specified by the municipality.
• Completion of all required documentation, including returnable forms and certificates, for evaluation and contractual purposes.
• Compliance with all applicable legal, safety, and quality standards related to water borehole materials.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying water infrastructure materials, particularly borehole components.
• Ability to demonstrate technical competence through previous project experience and references.
• Availability of qualified personnel, including project managers and technical staff, with relevant expertise.
• Capacity to manage logistics and timely delivery of materials in accordance with municipal needs.
• Compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including valid tax clearance and registration with relevant authorities.
• Provision of supporting documentation such as project experience, organizational structure, key personnel CVs, and financial stability evidence.
