The primary objective of this tender is to appoint an experienced and qualified service provider to conduct a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Baseline Risk Assessment at all South African Weather Service (SAWS) premises/sites/stations/departments on a once-off basis. This assessment aims to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, standards, and best practices, and to identify potential health and safety hazards to promote a safe working environment.
The scope includes conducting a baseline risk assessment across all SAWS locations, which encompass head offices, weather stations, airports, and other operational sites nationwide. The assessment covers:
