Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint environmental management professionals to serve on a panel of expert advisors for a period of 60 months. The appointed experts will provide technical advisory services to support TCTA's quality assurance and risk management functions related to environmental sustainability across its projects and operations.

Scope

The scope of work includes providing strategic and technical advisory services in environmental management, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices. Specific tasks involve:

• Reviewing and verifying designs, reports, policies, governance structures, and management systems related to environmental sustainability.
• Advising on the avoidance, mitigation, and management of environmental risks.
• Supporting environmental baseline data collection, management planning, monitoring, and mitigation activities.
• Reviewing contractual obligations, specifications, and monitoring data to ensure environmental compliance and performance.
• Providing expertise in areas such as air quality management, wetlands, watercourses, grasslands, and climate change impacts.
• Delivering written instructions and reports based on specific focus areas as directed by TCTA.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Minimum of 20 years of practical experience in relevant environmental disciplines.
• At least 5 years of specialized experience within the specific area of environmental management.
• Demonstrated involvement in large multidisciplinary projects such as infrastructure, dams, water treatment facilities, etc.
• Provision of technical expertise or advisory services to institutions like governments, water boards, banks, or development agencies within the last ten years.
• Evidence of relevant publications, awards, or recognitions in the field.
• Current professional registration and membership of recognized professional bodies.
• Experience in areas such as air quality monitoring, wetlands, watercourses, and climate change mitigation.
