The primary objective of this tender is to appoint four (04) service providers for the provision of station cleaning and horticultural services across specified regions in the Eastern Cape for a period of 36 months. The aim is to ensure effective maintenance and cleanliness of railway stations through qualified service providers adhering to specified standards and legal requirements.
The scope encompasses the provision of comprehensive cleaning and horticultural services at designated stations within four clusters in the Eastern Cape Region, including East London, Port Elizabeth, and MLPS corridors. The services include daily cleaning, horticultural maintenance, provision of tools and equipment, uniforms, chemicals, and all necessary materials to deliver the services effectively over a 36-month period.
The contract also involves compliance with relevant legislation, including adherence to the National Minimum Wage Act and other applicable laws, as well as participation in national industrial programs where applicable.
