Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to supply and install network equipment and cabling services for the Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA). The goal is to enhance the agency's network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and operational efficiency.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of network equipment such as Aruba CX 6000 switches and Teltonika routers.
• Supply and installation of end-to-end network points, patch panels, brush panels, patch leads, fly leads, cabinets, and power distribution units.
• Delivery, configuration, and commissioning of all hardware components.
• Providing the necessary cabling services, including supply of Cat6 network points and associated accessories.
• Ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and adherence to specified brands and standards.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Supply of 82 Aruba Network CX 6000 switches (R8N88A).
• Provision of 82 Teltonika RUT906 routers.
• Supply of 1013 Molex Cat6 network point components, 43 patch panels, 86 brush panels, 1020 patch leads (1m), and 1020 fly leads (3m).
• Supply of 82 9U network racks with fans and 82 6-way rack mount PDUs.
• All equipment must be compatible with existing infrastructure and meet industry standards.
• Mandatory compliance with registration on the Central Supplier Database and proof of tax compliance.
• Partnership proof with OEMs where applicable.

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must demonstrate:

• Technical expertise in network infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and installation.
• Experience with supply and deployment of enterprise-grade network equipment and cabling.
• Ability to ensure compatibility and integration with existing RTIA systems.
• Compliance with government procurement policies, including B-BBEE verification and tax compliance.
• Capability to provide project management, technical support, and post-installation maintenance.
• Provision of qualified personnel with relevant certifications and experience in network infrastructure projects.
