Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to appoint service providers for various bulk trainings aimed at enhancing skills within the cross-border road transport industry. The training seeks to improve the flow of passengers and freight, introduce regulated competition, reduce operational constraints, and ensure oversight and monitoring functions to facilitate unimpeded transport of freight and passengers across borders.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of accredited training courses for various professionals, covering topics such as cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, software testing, change management, and other relevant areas. The training can be delivered online (virtual) or in-person, with certification issued upon completion. Specific training modules include:

• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISM)
• Data Science and BI
• Cloud Computing (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+, Microsoft Azure)
• Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB)
• Change Management (e.g., PMI, ACMP)
• Other specialized technical courses as specified

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Provision of accredited training programs aligned with international standards and NQF levels.
• Issuance of certification of attendance and competence after assessments.
• Training delivery modes: online (virtual) or physical, as applicable.
• Preparation of detailed quotations inclusive of all costs (trainer, materials, assessments, certificates).
• Compliance with the formal assessment and certification processes.
