Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified and accredited training service provider to deliver Business English, Professional Writing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programmes to employees in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal over a period of three years. The training aims to enhance employees' communication, report-writing skills, and AI literacy to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and professional effectiveness.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of training programmes in Business English, Professional Writing, and AI for employees in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal.
• Training to be conducted on an as-and-when required basis over three years.
• All training activities to be carried out at facilities provided or approved by ATNS, including training rooms, AV equipment, parking, and internet connectivity.
• Provision of training covering application of AI tools in the workplace, report-writing, and related competencies.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Delivering training in Business English, Professional Writing, and AI, tailored to the needs of employees.
• Providing training on AI literacy, tools, and their workplace application.
• Conducting all training at designated facilities, with costs included in the quoted rates.
• Providing qualified facilitators with relevant experience and certifications in delivering the specified training areas.
• Ensuring training reports, feedback mechanisms, and certification processes are in place.
• Adhering to the evaluation criteria, including methodology, facilitator qualifications, and company experience.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider and facilitators include:

• Proven experience in delivering Business English, Professional Writing, and AI training programs.
• Facilitators with at least 3 years’ experience in relevant training delivery.
• Qualifications such as BA in Communication Science, Linguistics, Journalism, or related fields.
• Supporting evidence of certifications in Microsoft AI, Copilot, Azure AI, Google AI, IBM AI, Generative AI, and Prompt Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective training methodologies and approaches.
• Capability to report on training progress and provide feedback mechanisms.
