Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a suitable provider to deliver an online Board Leadership Programme for one participant. The programme aims to enhance the participant's understanding of corporate governance, stakeholder roles, board systems, the King IV report, the Companies Act 2008, and other jurisdictional governance frameworks. It also seeks to improve practical skills in effective board meetings, risk management, and liability mitigation through case studies and strategic leadership training.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of a comprehensive 3-day online training course for a single individual. The course content must include:

• Corporate Governance principles and stakeholder debates
• Roles, functions, and liabilities of directors and officers
• Modes of corporate governance: two-tier and unitary board systems
• Overview of the King IV report and corporate governance in South Africa
• Corporate governance in other jurisdictions
• Effective board meetings and processes
• Practical tips to limit liability
• Case studies to test governance principles and effectiveness
• Strategic leadership and risk governance

Technical Requirements

The training must be delivered online over three days, with interactive content including practical case studies. The provider must ensure:
