Objectives

The primary objective is to procure the design, fabrication, and installation of a custom protective cab for a Case JX75 tractor. The municipality seeks a qualified service provider to modify the tractor, manage logistics, and deliver a fully compliant unit ready for operational use.

Scope of Work

• Fabricate and install a standard steel cab with an epoxy finish.
• Fit 6mm safety glass, sliding windows (left, right, and rear), and lockable swinging doors on both sides.
• Install a front screen wiper system with blades and water nozzles.
• Add a roof top, fan unit equipped with two carbon filters, and supply an extra filter set.
• Mount an amber LED beacon light on the roof with a steel protective frame.
• Remove the existing frame and roof shade assembly.
• Install front cab lights and indicators.
• Collect the tractor from Struisbaai and transport it to Bredasdorp upon project completion.
• Facilitate a municipal inspection and obtain approval before submitting the final invoice.

• All components must strictly match the specified materials and configurations, including steel construction, epoxy coating, and 6mm safety glass.
• Bidders must complete the official pricing schedule, providing separate line items for each component, transport fees, and total costs inclusive of VAT.

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or certificate issued by SARS.
• Proof of up-to-date municipal account payments is mandatory for eligibility.
