Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite prospective companies or individuals to submit proposals for the purchase and disposal of Agrilab assets and other equipment owned by Dube TradePort Corporation (DTPC). The aim is to facilitate the transfer of specified assets from DTPC to successful bidders who will arrange for transportation and removal from the site.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Disposal of Agrilab assets as detailed in the call for proposal document.
• Disposal of additional equipment including a photocopier, magnetic hotplate stirrer, handheld vacuum cleaner, portable pH/EC meter, data logger, and steriliser dry heat.
• Inspection of assets (non-compulsory) scheduled for 21 January 2026 at the Dube Cargo Terminal, King Shaka International Airport.
• Successful bidders will be responsible for their own arrangements for transport and labor to remove assets from the DTPC site.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements are primarily related to compliance with the disposal process and evaluation criteria, including:

• Submission of proposals that meet all specified conditions and are responsive to the tender requirements.
• Adherence to the evaluation process based on compliance and the 80/20 preference points system as per PPPFA regulations, 2022.
• Preference points will be allocated for South African Owned Enterprises.
• Proposals must be submitted by the deadline of 15:00 on 4 February 2026, either physically at the DTPC offices or via email.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from bidders include:

• Ability to arrange and execute transportation and labor for asset removal.
• Understanding of asset disposal procedures and compliance with procurement regulations.
• Capability to prepare and submit compliant proposals within the stipulated timeframe.
• Possession of relevant experience or expertise in handling similar asset disposals (implied by the evaluation criteria).
