Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure comprehensive catering and housekeeping services at the FA Platform premises, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and service quality. The services aim to support PetroSA's operational needs by providing meals, cleaning, maintenance, recreation, pest control, and accommodation management for personnel on the platform.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight meals) in accordance with specified menu requirements.
• Supply of recreation services such as DVD rentals.
• Conduct of pest control services quarterly, including specific areas on the platform.
• Daily galley and housekeeping services, including cleaning, linen washing, and equipment maintenance.
• Provision and management of accommodation facilities, including cabins and living quarters.
• Management of equipment and inventory control on the platform.
• Personnel safety, incident reporting, and contingency planning.
• Communication, reporting, and service evaluation activities.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Adherence to specified menu standards, including fixed menus for the contract duration and consideration of dietary preferences (Halaal, Kosher, Vegan, health-related diets).
• Provision of recreation services with prior PetroSA approval for rentals.
• Quarterly pest control using registered technicians and approved chemicals, with records maintained and activities conducted in compliance with regulations.
• Daily servicing of galley and accommodation areas, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment functionality.
• Maintenance of equipment as detailed in Schedule 4E, including inventory control and timely reporting of discrepancies.
• Personnel safety measures, including PPE, offshore survival certification, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Implementation of contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Regular reporting, service evaluation, and customer satisfaction surveys.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for personnel include:

• Experience in catering, housekeeping, and maintenance services in offshore or similar environments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Registered pest control technicians with relevant authority certifications.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized equipment as listed in Schedule 4E.
• Safety training, including offshore survival certificates and familiarity with safety procedures.
• Strong inventory management and stock control skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills for service evaluation and incident reporting.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including overtime with proper authorization.
