Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering consulting firms to provide comprehensive consultancy services for the project titled "Connection of Library- Post Office & Manguzi Internal Road Phase 2." The services include planning, design, documentation, contract administration, construction monitoring and supervision, project management of Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) projects, quality assurance, reporting, and preparation of payment certificates and project close-out documentation.

Technical Requirements

The successful consulting firms must demonstrate:

• Relevant experience in civil engineering consultancy services
• Provision of professional planning, design, and documentation skills
• Capability to administer contracts and supervise construction activities
• Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring quality standards are met
• Compliance with quality assurance and reporting standards
• Provision of payment certificates and project close-out documentation

Skills Requirements

The tender submission must include:

• Certified CETA Level 5 or Level 7 licensing certificates for the Director or team members
• Company registration documents
• Certified copies of identity documents of all directors, owners, members, or shareholders
• Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
• Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Municipal rates clearance or exemption documentation
• Fully completed and signed MBD forms contained in the tender document
