Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to construct a Pack Store facility near Laingsburg, Western Cape. The project aims to deliver a fully functional store that meets specified requirements, within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring quality and compliance with all relevant standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes the complete construction of the Pack Store, encompassing all necessary labour, materials, and machinery. The work must be carried out on-site at the designated location near Laingsburg, with the successful bidder responsible for delivering the project as per the specifications outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• The project must be completed as a lump sum bid, covering all costs including labour, materials, and machinery.
• The successful contractor must commence work within 7 days of being appointed.
• All bid documents must be downloaded from the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal; no email or hard copies are accepted.
• Bid submissions must be sealed, endorsed as specified, and delivered to Casidra SOC Ltd at their Head Office, placed in the designated bid box.
• Submissions must be properly bound; unbound tenders may be deemed invalid.
• The project must adhere to all relevant legal, safety, and quality standards as specified in the tender documentation.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in constructing similar facilities, demonstrating capacity to deliver within tight deadlines.
• Ability to mobilize resources quickly, as work must commence within 7 days of appointment.
• Competence in managing all aspects of construction projects, including labour, materials, and machinery management.
• Compliance with all legal and safety regulations applicable to construction projects in South Africa.
• Effective communication skills for coordination and queries related to the project.
