Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is the construction of the Sithembile Multi-purpose Court, aimed at developing community recreational facilities and enhancing local infrastructure.

Scope

The scope encompasses the complete construction of the Sithembile Multi-purpose Court, including site preparation, civil works, and related infrastructure as specified in the tender documents. The project is to be executed in accordance with the specifications and standards outlined by Endumeni Municipality.

Technical Requirements

• Contractor must possess a CIDB contractor grading designation of 4CE or higher.
• Bidder must submit proof of CIDB grading, company registration, tax compliance, and relevant municipal and departmental registrations.
• All bids must be completed in handwriting using black ink and submitted on the provided documentation.
• Bid documents are available from the Finance Department upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R1,200.00.
• Mandatory site briefing session attendance is required; failure to attend results in disqualification.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in civil construction projects, specifically multi-purpose courts or similar infrastructure.
• Ability to demonstrate compliance with CIDB grading requirements and relevant municipal and departmental registrations.
• Competence in project management, site supervision, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provision of necessary documentation such as company registration, tax compliance, municipal rates or lease agreements, and proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database.
