Scope

Pricing must be submitted exclusively in the designated quotation table within the Terms of Reference, clearly stating unit prices and totals excluding VAT, followed by a mandatory 15% VAT calculation to determine the grand total. Incomplete pricing submissions will be treated as non-compliant.

Technical Requirements

• Printer Compatibility: Labels must be fully compatible with the Epson TM-C7500 thermal transfer printing system without requiring modifications or causing mechanical issues.
• Thermal Resistance: Materials must withstand extreme heat exposure without warping, discoloration, or adhesive failure.
• Cold Resistance: Labels must maintain structural integrity and adhesion in freezing or low-temperature environments.
• Solvent Resistance: Printed surfaces and substrates must resist degradation, smudging, or delamination when exposed to common industrial or laboratory solvents.
• Documentation Compliance: All financial quotations must be completed within the provided TOR layout. Missing or improperly formatted pricing tables constitute grounds for disqualification.

Skills Requirements

No specialized technical certifications are explicitly mandated. However, suppliers must demonstrate standard commercial and logistical competencies, including inventory control, quality assurance verification, and on-time delivery management. Bidders must also possess administrative proficiency to accurately complete mandatory South African public sector compliance documentation, including conflict-of-interest disclosures, anti-collusion declarations, and B-BBEE certification submissions.
